Orthodontics entails the treatment of dental or skeletal malocclusions (a disaligned bite). The teeth are therefore moved with different techniques depending on the case to ensure an aligned occlusion.

The two most common techniques involve the use of removable appliances in children and fixed appliances or braces, which are attached to the teeth for the duration of the treatment. In our office we also use ceramic braces which combine the mechanics of fixed appliances with aesthetics, allowing for a more camouflaged effect than the classic metal braces.
